What Are The Advantages And Disadvantages Of Spur Gear And Helical Gear?
- Sep 02, 2017 -

Cylindrical spur gear for parallel shaft drive, gear meshing and exit, along the width of teeth simultaneously, easy to impact, vibration and noise.

Helical gears can be used for parallel transmission, but also can be used for cross shaft transmission (helical gear mechanism) and its features: large overlap coefficient, stable transmission gear, high strength, suitable for heavy load, compared with straight teeth: helical axial force.

2. bevel gear and bevel gear (bevel gear)

Bevel gear drive is mainly used for two shafts intersecting transmission (usually 90 degrees)

The difference between straight teeth and helical teeth is basically the same as those of cylindrical spur gears and cylindrical helical gears, but all of them have axial forces.
